Kerala ICDS PSC Exams 2023: Eligibility Criteria
For the post of ICDS Supervisor, the candidates are required to meet certain criteria, failing to which the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the examination process. Education Qualification for Kerala ICDS Exam
The Kerala Public Commission specifies the following qualifications as the minimum requirement for the post of ICDS Supervisor in the Women and Child Development Department.
(1) A bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Work, Psychology, or Home Science from a recognized University.
OR
(2) A bachelor’s degree in any other discipline of a recognized University and a Bal Sevika Training certificate (1 Year) issued by the Indian/State Council for Child Welfare or any other recognized Indian/State Council for Child Welfare or any other recognised Institutions or Pre- Primary Teachers Training Certificate from Institutions recognized by the Government.
Age Limit for Kerala ICDS Exam
Candidates between the ages of 18 and 36 are eligible to appear for the Kerala PSC ICDS Supervisor exam. However, applicants belonging to SC, ST, and other backward communities can get age relaxation benefits. Moreover, regular Anganwadi workers of ICDS can also apply for this position, given that they fulfill the general conditions mentioned in the gazette that allow for age relaxations.
